This extremely rare stone is difficult and dangerous to acquire because the mine is located inside an active volcano in Indonesia! When sulfur gas is emitted from a volcano, it burns a bright blue colour. As it rises and comes in contact with cool air, the gas changes into the bright yellow solid that gives Bumble Bee Jasper its name.
